2023 Leprechaun Chase 5k

Race Report: Saturday March 18, 2023

We were back at Yoctangee Park in Chillicothe, Ohio for another Leprechaun Chase 5k. The event drew slightly more participants than it did in 2022 with slightly less than 200 in attendance.

The weather was cold, but pleasant and the participants were excited to be out. Many of them dressed in their best St. Patrick’s Day costumes.

The course took participants around Yoctangee Park and along the dam wall, where the turnaround point was located. The section of the dam wall allowed participants and spectators alike to see all the other runners and walkers.

This event benefited the Hope Clinic of Ross County. The clinic provides many free medical services to those who are in need.
