The Citizens to Protect Children and the Elderly are holding their 8th Annual 5K walk/run on Saturday September 19, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. This event is open to all who wish to participate. Each participant will receive a t-shirt.

This year we will have team options and pricing available. Team pricing is subject to the minimum number participants (6). You will need to have 6 people on a team for the guaranteed price structure outlined on the site.

Sunday September 5th as the cut off to assure a t-shirt is received.

Top Male and Female-12 and under
Top Male and Female-13-19
Top Male and Female- 20-39
Top Male and Female-40-59
Top Male and Female-60 and over

In addition there will be random prize drawings for all individuals registered, both pre-registered and those the morning of the race.

September – Hunger Action Month

For this years race we are wanting to give back to the community.  We are asking participants to bring a canned good to the event. For every can you bring you will get a raffle ticket in order to enter into a randomized prize drawing. All canned goods will be donated to the local food pantry.
