Join the Epilepsy Alliance of Ohio as we host our fourth annual Run to Erase Epilepsy 5k run/walk to benefit local services in our community. The event will be held at McFerson Park in downtown Columbus and features a great course, food, refreshments, music and awards after the race. Your support of this race will help us impact the lives of thousands of people living with seizures.

McFerson Commons (Park) is also known to many as "Arch Park." This is because the focal point of the park is the entry arch from the Old Union Train Station. This arch was the main portal to the train station that once stood along High St. (Current location of the Columbus Converntion Center.) The Union Train Station was originally designed by Daniel Burnham & Co. in 1893, however this entire train station was demolished in the 1970's, with the exception of this arch which is now seen at the the McFerson Commons Park. This park overlooks Nationwide Arena to the north, and the new North Bank Park to the South. McFerson Commons is dedicated to Dimon R. McFerson, the former chairman and CEO of Nationwide Insurance, who served from 1992-2000.
